About Leanne

Born and raised in Smithfield, Virginia, Leanne's work is heavily influenced by the landscape of Isle of Wight county. She spent much of her childhood on her grandparents' farm, which presents itself in many of her pieces.

Leanne enjoyed art an early age, leading her to study art at Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia. She studied abroad in Greece, with a focus on handmade books and oil painting. Leanne earned her Bachelors of Fine Art in 2012. 

Along with her husband and three cats, Leanne is lucky to call the family farm home now, after moving in 2019. 

Leanne's work aims to capture the light and love she sees in her rural surroundings. Her pieces feature vibrant landscapes, in an expressive style.
